Smooth Interview – Thanks to my botox

I was amazed to hear on the news the other day that some people are getting botox in their quest for a more youthful appearance and ultimately a new employment contract.

With the rise in unemployment globally, largely due to redundancies, more and more individuals are looking for the same jobs and there is an underlying rumour that youthful looks count.

I researched this further on the wrinkle free ever-youthful world wide web and was staggered to see the popularity of botox and business among men and women.

Surely those telltale lines of experience count for something in the eyes of the beholder, or in this case, employer?

I am yet to hear about successes and whether they would be as a result of looking youthful but I do acknowledge it is a competitive landscape in the employment market and you got to do what you got to do but surely some of that is to save your money? Botox does not come cheap. Every interview you attend would need to have a huge return on investment.

One final thought to consider, would you be able to show your genuine emotion and interest in the interview through your facial expressions?

I will follow this trend with interest and curiosity
